Republic of Ireland striker Robbie Keane was named in the 2015 MLS Team of the Year and again hailed as one of the best ever imports to the league.
It is the fourth successive season the LA Galaxy striker has been selected after another impressive season for the former Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool striker.
It has been a disappointing campaign for Galaxy, but the Dubliner has again proved his value to the franchise. He notched 20 league goals, second only to joint top scorers Sebastian Giovinco of Toronto and Columbus Crew's Kei Kamara who were also chosen.
The Dubliner finished two goals clear of New York City forward David Villa and was the only member of the 2014 selection to make the cut.
In a 3-4-3 formation, MLS players, club executives and media members gave Keane the seal of approval.
"Keane once again showed why he’s one of the best players in MLS history by having another outstanding season in his fourth full season in the league," the official website stated.
"After winning the Landon Donovan MVP award in 2014, Keane scored a career high 20 goals in just 24 games and contributed eight assists as well. This is his fourth-straight Best XI selection."
