Since Sky Sports started broadcasting the Championship in Britain the number of potential newcomers to the sport has grown.

Amongst those newcomers is now legendary Dutch Ballon d'Or winner Ruud Gullit, who was instructed as to the rules of Gaelic Games yesterday by former Ireland International Kevin Kilbane.

The pair were watching the Mayo Dublin All-Ireland semi-final yesterday in BBC's Match of the Day Two Studios, much to the surprise of  presenter Mark Chapman who tweeted the following:
