Robbie Keane says he has received offers from clubs in the Championship as he mulls over his next move.

The 36-year-old is contemplating a return to England after leaving LA Galaxy. He was initially targeted by other MLS clubs in addition to interest from Australia - it's believed he has turned down one approach from the A-League.

But the veteran has confirmed that relocation to the UK is an option, with the Dubliner linked with a switch to the growing Irish colony at Preston.

Keane said that former clubs Leeds and Wolves have not called.

"I've got a few offers from England and abroad. I had to knock back a couple . . . Maybe a little too far away," he told Talksport. "There's been a few offers from the Championship and a few other sniffs here and there."
