'I can promise you Robbie is not happy' - Keane furious with LA Galaxy sub role

Steven Gerrard wasn't the only unhappy LA Galaxy camper in Los Angeles on Sunday night as Robbie Keane spent the majority of the MLS play-off clash with Colorado Rapidssitting next to the former Liverpool player on the bench.
The former Ireland international was sent on for a late cameo by manager Bruce Arena as Galaxy did enough to secure the 1-0 first-leg win over a Rapids side that included Kevin Doyle.
Arena admitted that Keane found it tough to take when it was confirmed that Galaxy would stick with the forward options that saw them through the Dubliner's recent spell on the sidelines.
When asked why a talisman of previous MLS play-off triumphs was deployed as a sub, Arena said: "(Robbie was) coming back from injury and, having a team that played a good game on Wednesday, I decided not to change the line-up.
"Alan Gordon has played well and deserved to get the start. I can promise you Robbie is not happy with that, but it's the way it is."
Doyle was withdrawn in the second half but he will expect to start in the second leg back on home turf next Sunday.
Keane will also have high hopes of being in the Galaxy line-up from the kick-off as they go in search of a fourth MLS Cup win during his time in America.
