IN HIS OWN WORDS . . .

"I was delighted to make the debut but the most important thing was to get the three points and I thought all the boys were magnificent tonight and hopefully now we can kick on, being top of the group.

"They got a goal back but we still dug in and I thought it was a big team performance.

"I was a bit nervous on the bench and then the boss gave me the shout. To be honest I was delighted to just get on the pitch and get some game time under my belt.

"I just went on and tried to do what I do for my club and I'm just delighted to get the three points, and a few of my family came over and they will be happy as well and there is a few back home watching as well."
