Lilies head market after drawing Sligo

League champions Dundalk will host 2012 Cup winners Sligo Rovers after the draw was made for the last eight of the FAI Cup yesterday.

Dundalk are evens favourites for the competition, and look certainties to retain their Premier Division title.

Cork City (4/1) will travel to the Brandywell to face Derry City (9/1) after dumping out holders St Patrick's Athletic with a 4-0 win at Turner's Cross.

Bray Wanderers (8/1) are pitted against Killester United (150/1) after ousting Bohemians with a controversial Peter McGlynn goal.

Longford (8/1) will play the outstanding quarter-final with either Athlone Town or Sheriff YC after the third-round replay this evening at Athlone Town Stadium (7.45, with provision for extra-time and penalties if needed).

The draw was made by Ireland U-21 manager Noel King and FAI competitions director Fran Gavin.

The quarter-finals will be played on the weekend of September 13 and the fixtures schedule will be announced in due course.
