Zambra strike helps Bray finish on high
Bray Wanderers 1 Dundalk 0
Bray and Dundalk both ended the season solidly in mid-table, but there's little doubt they're looking in drastically different directions.
The Wicklow side's victory here was a fitting end to a season of progress for Pat Devlin's men, while Dundalk will now be worrying about the future of the team, the squad and manager Ian Foster.
If the Merseysider does depart over what is likely to be a chaotic close-season, then this was hardly the send-off he would have liked.
The limpness of the display, however, could also be put down to the fact that this was the very definition of a dead-rubber.
And having had marginally the better of the opening exchanges, the home side went ahead on 50 minutes when Kieran Marty Waters slid the ball across the box for Dean Zambra to finish.
