While the expectancy levels remain high around Dalymount Park, Bohemians are continuing to find that football can be such a freakish game -- especially when they play Galway United.
The Tribesmen cannot stop registering victories over the Dubliners and a fourth success in five encounters proves that Sean Connor always has his team primed for these tussles.
Galway didn't even need to be too stylish, but they were passionate enough to eke out their first win of the campaign.
For all the Gypsies' passing football, there was an earnestness to the Galway display that suggests Connor's team will cause problems for most teams.
Killian Brennan was denied by a Stephen Walsh block on 57 before Galway hit the front in the 61st minute courtesy of some Joseph Yoffe opportunism.
Alan Murphy and Karl Moore fashioned the chance for Yoffe, who supplied an ice-cool finish to nudge Galway ahead. Despite a late Bohs rally, Connor's charges prevailed.
