LIAM BUCKLEY'S Sporting Fingal progressed to the promotion play-off after a hard-fought victory over 10-man Shelbourne at Tolka Park.
Fingal now meet Bray Wanderers over two legs to decide who plays in the top-flight next term thanks to goals by Eamon Zayed and Shaun Williams.
Shels fell behind in the 39th minute when Zayed produced a measured finish to volley home from a right-wing delivery by Gary O'Neill.
