Treble talk sidestepped by Kenny as Dundalk head west

Dundalk manager Stephen Kenny has refused to discuss the possibility of a domestic treble heading into today's EA Sports Cup semi-final in Galway.
The defending league champions remain six points clear at the top of the table after a hard-fought win in Bray on Friday and will also be in Galway for the next round of the FAI Cup later this month. That competition has opened up with Shamrock Rovers out and Cork meeting St Pat's at the next hurdle.
Kenny is wary of making bold pronouncements, however, with the Bray experience a reminder of the difficulties that lurk around every corner.
He also knows that Galway are capable of posing problems as they did during Dundalk's tense 4-2 league win at Eamonn Deacy Park earlier in the season.
"I'm not getting involved in that at the minute," said Kenny, when asked about his side's treble prospects. "What Friday reminds you is that you can start thinking of anything but every single week will be tough.
"In the final series of games, teams are making themselves much more difficult to beat and have real spirit."
Kenny will be without Ciaran Kilduff and Sean Maguire today. Kilduff is cup tied after his debut goal settled the Bray match, while clearance has not come through in time to make Maguire available.
The Dundalk boss is excited by the potential of the Kilkenny lad who was let go by West Ham in the summer and was expected to stay in England.
"He's got magic in his feet," said Kenny. "He's really inventive and quick and he's a real talent, a genuine talent." The Irish U-21 international was on loan with Sligo Rovers in 2014.
Galway supremo Thomas Dunne says there is "no pressure" on his charges.
Dublin rivals Shamrock Rovers and St Patrick's Athletic meet at Tallaght in the other semi and both managers are expected to shuffle the pack ahead of a league meeting at the same venue on Friday.
Saints' defender Jason McGuinness is fit again, and Greg Bolger is back from a ban, but Sean Hoare faces a fitness test.
