Team news: Iarfhlaith Davoren and Raffaele Cretaro are suspended for Sligo but top scorer Eoin Doyle and centre-half Jason McGuinness return. Ian Foster welcomes his main marksman Mark Quigley back, while Jason Byrne is suspended, Carl McHugh is with the Ireland U-19s and Eoghan Osborne, Stephen Maher and Colin Hawkins remain out.

Talking point: Away trips to St Patrick's Athletic and Bohemians are next on Sligo's agenda so a win tonight is a must for them. Dundalk have not won a league game since July 15 and, with the big Dublin derby tomorrow night, this is a real chance for Sligo to heap pressure on Shamrock Rovers by going three points ahead of them.

Verdict: Home win.
