Three-match ban for Turner

SHAMROCK Rovers midfielder Chris Turner has been given a three-game ban after being found guilty of offensive behaviour towards Derry City's Eamon Zayed.
The former Northern Ireland U-21 international has been cleared of making a racist remark at the Libyan international, but the FAI's Disciplinary Control Unit (DCU) still adjudged the incident worthy of a suspension.
The ban will begin immediately but does not cover European games and Turner will be involved in Rovers' Europa League tie against Flora Tallinn on Tuesday in Tallaght.
Rovers were cleared of a charge of racism directed at their fans after the DCU adjudged there was no corroborating evidence, while St Patrick's Athletic received a €200 fine for an incident involving their fans and the Derry striker.
