One punter wasn't too happy with Sligo Rovers' performance in the EA Sports Cup quarter-final yesterday, but he was firmly put in his place by the club's Twitter account after voicing his displeasure.

Sligo drew 0-0 with Galway in their quarter-final tie, before the visitors prevailed on penalties after the game finished 2-2 after extra time.

A Twitter user then tweeted the Sligo Rovers account giving out that there were under 1.5 goals in normal time, before he received a succinct putdown in response.

*There is some bad language in the initial tweet to Sligo Rovers.
