Hat-tricks from Vinny Sullivan and Tadhg Purcell were the highlights at Turner's Cross last night as Cork City came from behind to comfortably defeat Athlone Town and safely navigate their way into the last-16.
Although the Cross was stunned into silence after just four minutes when Brian McCarthy nodded past Mark McNulty, Cork recovered and cruised to victory.
