Quartet agree new sligo deals

SLIGO ROVERS have agreed new contracts with inspirational midfielder Joseph Ndo and FAI Cup final hero Ciaran Kelly, writes DANIEL McDONNELL.

Cup-winning captain Danny Ventre and centre-back Derek Foran have also committed their services to the Bit O' Red, while manager Paul Cook is still trying to convince PFAI Player of the Year Richie Ryan to stay.

Ryan wants to give a career in the UK another shot and Shamrock Rovers are also tracking the Tipperary native.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Sky Sports will be the official television partner for next year's Carling Nations Cup.

The four-team event, which will be contested by Ireland, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, takes place in the Aviva Stadium in February and May.

All six matches will be shown live on Sky Sports.
