O'Connor's superb strike saw Longford pull Finn Harps into the relegation mire on a night when Harps sub Ruairi Keating saw an 81st-minute penalty saved by Ryan Coulter.

O'Connor's goal had made all the difference.

Packie Mailey's headed clearance bounced invitingly in front of O'Connor who, with a first-time effort, lobbed Richard Brush to give the visitors the lead. Keating hit the bar on 72 minutes and was denied by Coulter as Harps fell to a seventh defeat in a row.
