The hosts raced into a two-goal lead in the opening ten minutes.

First, Mark Timlin curled home his 11 goal of the season, and then the unmarked Dean Jarvis headed home Stephen Dooley's corner at the near post.

Bray responded after the break when they were gifted a goal back on 54 minutes - Graham Kelly showed good composure to turn the ball home following Ben McLaughlin's misplaced pass.

Derry restored their two-goal cushion on 63 minutes when Patrick McEleney blasted home from 25 yards.

Bray sub David Scully hit the post, and the visitors' challenge petered out.
