TWO goals in the last five minutes from Bastien Hery and Dean Clarke gave Limerick victory in a thriller at Markets Field.

Limerick hit the front after 13 minutes when Bray lost possession in midfield and Chiedozie Ogbene ran 40 yards before slotting past Peter Cherrie.

The young attacker, who was in excellent form, added an exquisite second on 18 minutes, jinking past two defenders before finishing brilliantly.

Bray replied instantly through Ryan Brennan after a poor clearing header from the Limerick defence and it was soon 2-2, Aaron Greene netting with a header against his former club after the home side failed to clear from a corner.

Limerick were in front again in the 34th minute when Clarke’s cross from

the right was headed home by Rodrigo Tosi.

Bray pulled level again on 70 minutes when Gary McCabe coolly dispatched a penalty.

That seemed to be enough for a share of the spoils until Hery struck in the 87th minute and Clarke then made sure of the points for Limerick with a drive into the bottom corner of Cherrie’s net.
