The Dublin District Schoolboy League (DDSL) will meet the North Dublin Schoolboy District League (NDSL) in the SFAI Kennedy Cup semi-final at UL today.
Both sides set up a repeat of the 2011 final, which the NDSL won, after coming through tense penalty shoot outs yesterday following 1-1 and 0-0 draws with Midlands and Kildare.
The Limerick Desmond and Kerry will clash in the other semi-final after recording 3-0 and 2-0 wins over Dundalk and Galway.
Nathan Collins glanced home a James Clarke corner after the break to edge the DDSL, the defending champions, ahead against Midlands before Mark Dillon restored parity. The game went straight to a shoot out which the DDSL won 4-2.
Kian Clarke saved a penalty and Ray O'Sullivan, Donovan Troy, Anthony Purdy and James Clarke netted from the spot for the DDSL, who have drawn their last three group and knockout games 1-1 on Shannonside.
The Limerick Desmond impressed against Dundalk, with goals in either half from Bryan Nix, Padraig Hartigan and Paudie Harington.
Dylan Murphy and Pat Darcy struck in the second half against Galway for a solid-looking Kerry side, who have notched 11 goals and conceded none so far in four games.
