Gregg ensures Bray share the spoils

Dundalk 0 Bray Wanderers 0

THE points were shared at Oriel Park last night as Dundalk and Bray cancelled each other out.

In a quiet first half, Dundalk's Peter Cherrie was the busier 'keeper, saving from the in-form Conor Murphy in the 19th minute.

Dundalk's best two chances came through strikers Johnny Breen and Jason Byrne, both blazing over with their efforts.

The second half proved to be a better affair with Bray looking more likely to score.

Conor Murphy screwed wide from 20 yards before Cherrie pushed a fizzing effort by Jake Kelly around his post in the 69th minute.

Dundalk's last chance fell to Michael Hector in the 84th minute, but a combination of the woodwork and Matt Gregg secured a well-earned point for Pat Devlin's men.
