Dundalk duo Daryl Horgan and Stephen O'Donnell are in the running for the Player of the Year - as voted by their peers in the players' union - along with Cork pair Greg Bolger and Sean Maguire.

That quartet also feature in the Premier Division Team of the Year with a total of six players from Dundalk and four from Cork. Derry goalkeeper Ger Doherty is the only player from outside the top two.

Rising Bray star Dylan Connolly flys the flag for the chasing pack in the Young Player of the Year where he is up against Maguire and Cork left full Kevin O'Connor.

Limerick ran away with the First Division and their dominance is reflected in the second tier voting. They have eight members in the team of the year with three players from UCD making up the rest.

UCD's Gary O'Neill is also up for the First Division Player of the Year with leading Limerick lights Shane Duggan and Chris Mulhall. It is no consolation for the students as they missed out on a playoff place with Drogheda and Cobh pipping them to the post.

Robbie Brady, Jeff Hendrick and Shane Long are the three contenders for the Irish Overseas Player of the Year.
