Trevor Croly’s reign as Bray boss began with a win and ended the St. Pat’s recent nine-game unbeaten run in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division.

Virtually out of nothing with 74 minutes on the clock at the Carlisle Grounds on Saturday evening, Peter McGlynn’s left wing cross took a ricochet and looped beyond a stranded Saints goalkeeper Brendan Clarke.

With the result being their first victory in six outings, the vital three points lifts the struggling Wicklow outfit out of the bottom two and ahead of Sligo Rovers in the table.
