Sean Boyd put the visitors in front on early on, but Campion scored on his Showgrounds debut to level matters.

The recalled Russell put the hosts ahead early in the second half with his first goal of the season before Cretaro doubled the lead

Substitute Aaron Dobbs pulled one back for the Hoops late on, but the home side prevailed.

Boyd opened the scoring with a cool finish on 14 minutes after spinning the Rovers defence, but Campion levelled right on the stroke of half-time with a close-range header, before Russell calmly fired home from distance on 54 minutes.

Cretaro's fifth goal in six games sealed the win, despite Dobbs managing to pull one back late on.
