League of Ireland club Bohemians has done its bit to highlight the humanitarian crisis engulfing Europe by unveiling a mural welcoming refugees outside Dalymount Park.

The horrific images of a drowned Syrian child washed up on a Turkish beach has made global headlines and the Airtricity club has attempted to raise further awareness of the issue.

One of the first Irish sporting organisations to speak out in favour of same-sex marriage ahead of May's referendum, the Gypsies took to art to highlight their stance on the humanitarian crisis yesterday.
