ROBBIE Keane will join the Republic of Ireland squad for first day of training ahead of the vital Euro 2012 qualifiers with Andorra and Armenia next month.
Keane has a club game with LA Galaxy on 4 October, three days before Ireland face Andorra.
But he has been given permission to skip the game, which is close to a non-event for Galaxy, other than being a clash between two leading MSL teams.
By skipping the game, captain can now join the first day of training with Giovanni Trapattoni's squad on 3 October.
Ireland then face Armenia on October 11.
A win from both matches will secure at least a play-off for qualification to next year's tournament.
