Joe Hart has confirmed that he has played his last game for Torino, as he prepares to find a new club in what will be one of the most intriguing transfers of the summer.

Hart has issued a farewell message to Torino fans, after the club’s President issued less than flattering comments on Sunday suggesting the England No.1 had made a few too many errors in his season with the Turin club.

“Thanks Turin, I'm proud to have played for your team,” said Hart in a message posted on Instagram.

“I will never forget the way you welcomed me and my family. I'll be a Turin fan forever, for the rest of my days. I met so many really special people and this was one of the most wonderful experiences of my life.

“For now it's just a goodbye, because I'll come back to see you and meet everyone. I wish you an exceptional summer, I will miss you!”

Hart has been linked with moves to Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea in recent months and he returns to his parent club Manchester City fully aware that he has no future under boss Pep Guardiola.

Hart has previously stated that he does not expect to be offered a route back into Guardiola’s set-up after he was ousted from the club last summer and news that City are in advanced talks to sign Benfica keeper Ederson confirming that pessimism is not misplaced.
