It wasn't just Martin O'Neill's men that came away with a brilliant win in Austria at the weekend.

The Ireland fans team braved the elements to record a fine 7-0 win over their Austrian counterparts just a few hours before James McClean did the business in the Ernst Happel Stadium to put O'Neill's men top of Group D going into the new year.

The Irish fans team have been playing charity friendlies home and away for the past few qualifying campaigns and it is the brainchild of YouBoysInGreen (YBIG.ie) who have raised thousands of Euro for their chosen charity, Aoibheann's Pink Tie, in the process.

While the matches also build up good relations with other countries and their fans, there is a competitive edge to them with Ireland proving too superior on Saturday.

Check out one of the seven goals in the clip below, a beautiful team move from the Boys In Green.
