SUNDERLAND midfielder David Meyler has joined Championship Hull on loan, the Tigers have confirmed.
The 23-year-old Republic of Ireland midfielder has been re-united with former Black Cats boss Steve Bruce at the KC Stadium, where he will remain until January 1.
Meyler, who has fought his way back from two cruciate ligament injuries, has made five senior appearances for Martin O'Neill's side this season and was drafted into the Ireland squad for last month's World Cup qualifiers against Germany and the Faroe Islands.
He joins winger Ahmed Elmohamady at Hull with the Egypt international having completed a season-long loan deal in August.
Manchester United player and rising Ireland star Robbie Brady recently agreed to join Hull on loan following a successful period there last season.
