Twitter reacts to very poor crowd at the Aviva Stadium for Ireland-Georgia encounter

Given the situation in Group D, the attendance at Aviva Stadium tonight is staggering.
No official figure has been given yet but reports suggest that just over 30,000 seats are filled in side the stadium meaning that 40pc of the stadium is empty.
The fact that it's a Monday night game and it comes after a bumper sporting weekend may be factors but it's disappointing nonetheless.

Attendance in the Aviva for a Euro qualifier with Rep Ireland still in the mix is a disgrace.— Hugh Cahill (@hughcahill7) September 7, 2015
I've been at snooker matches that have had better atmosphere than the Aviva tonight.— Cork's RedFM Sport (@BigRedBench) September 7, 2015
The Aviva is a sea of green... seats A hard sell on a school/work day, downside of UEFA's TV focused approach I guess.— John O'Sullivan (@johngosullivan) September 7, 2015
Did the big weekend at Croke Park take its toll on the Irish sporting public? The Aviva seems pretty empty & void of atmosphere #IrevGeo— Declan McNamee (@DeclanMcNamee) September 7, 2015
A reminder that 37,000 people came to watch a friendly against Latvia in first O'Neill/Keane game. It was a Friday but still..— Daniel McDonnell (@McDonnellDan) September 7, 2015
