The dates for Ireland's play-off against Bosnia have been revealed

Ireland must overcome the challenge of Bosnia if they are to make it to Euro 2016 in France next year.

Martin O'Neill's men were hoping to be drawn against Hungary but will instead have to overcome the challenge of Bosnia but did receive positive news when it was confirmed that the away leg will be first, on Friday November 13, with the home leg to follow on the Monday.

The Bosnians will not relish the challenge of coming to a packed Aviva Stadium after Ireland's recent victory over World Champions Germany.

Bosnia finished third in Group B behind Belgium and Wales.

Ireland will take heart from the fact that Bosnia were beaten 3-0 in Israel and also lost at home to Cyprus during their qualification campaign.

Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Republic of Ireland

Norway vs Hungary

Ireland will play Bosnia away on Friday, November 14 with the home fixture three days later on Monday 16
