Shay Given: We need nine or 10 out of 10 performances to get result against Germany

Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Shay Given admits that his team-mates are going to have to on top of their game to have any chance of getting a positive result against Germany tonight.
The world champions come to Dublin for the second time in three years, with the previous visit a harrowing 6-1 defeat for the home side.
Joachim Low's side are 2/1 on with the bookmakers to claim all three points and win the group with a game to spare, but the Stoke City goalkeeper says they Boys in Green must make home advantage count.
"We're in Dublin, we're at home. We've got the fans behind us," he told audioboom.com
"We'll need a big performance from everyone. We know it's such a big game. We know everyone has got to be a nine or 10 out of 10 to get the right result."
Poland travel to Hampden Park tonight with just six points separating the Poles in second to Gordon Strachan's Scotland in fourth position and the run-in couldn't be much closer according to Ireland's most capped goalkeeper.
"It's going to be down to the wire."
"It's a short turnaround, Thursday, Sunday, there's not much time for recovery so hopefully we can keep everyone fit and suspension free for the last game."
