Robbie Keane has named the best Irish XI he has ever played alongside and just two of the current crop make the grade.
Keane and his wife Claudine are busy in their roles as Ambassadors for Team Ireland in the Special Olympics in LA but the Ireland captain took time out to talk to Ian Dempsey on Today FM this Morning.
Alongside himself, Shay Given and John O'Shea are the only two current players to make the 11. Denis Irwin is the obvious choice as right full alongside O'Shea and Richard Dunne at centre half while Steve Staunton slots in on the left to make up the back four.
Jason McAteer is, arguably, the surprise package as he makes it on the right wing with Roy Keane and Mark Kinsella forming a mean looking central midfield.
Damien Duff gets the green light up tops while Niall Quinn and Robbie himself make the front pairing.
