Arsenal racked up a third successive Premier League win with a comprehensive 4-1 triumph at Hull.

  • Go To

Alexis Sanchez missed a first-half penalty but still scored twice, with Theo Walcott's effort and a stunning late strike from Granit Xhaka complementing the Chilean's brace.

Robert Snodgrass scored a late penalty but Jake Livermore's perhaps harsh sending off made matters too hard for Mike Phelan's men.

STAR MAN

Alex Iwobi: Integral in Arsenal's two opening goals, the nephew of Jay-Jay Okocha produced a fine display at the KC Stadium. His strike was turned home by Sanchez for the opener and his flick for Walcott's goal was stunning.

IN WITH THE CROWD

Hull and Arsenal fans stood together to pay tribute to former City academy player Daniel Wilkinson, who died earlier this week after collapsing on the field playing for Shaw Lane AFC. A number of Hull fans joined together in the 12th minute to sing for Megan Pratt - a 12-year-old supporter diagnosed with terminal cancer.

SURPRISE OF THE MATCH

Granit Xhaka starting from the bench raised a few eyebrows - as did his stunning left-footed drive from distance in stoppage-time.
