Francesco Guidolin set to return to Swansea this week after hospital release
Swansea head coach Francesco Guidolin is set to resume work this week after being released from hospital.
The 60-year-old Italian fell ill with a chest infection over a week ago and has missed the last two matches after being referred to a respiratory specialist at a London hospital last Wednesday.
However, having recovered from his illness, Guidolin can start preparing for this weekend's trip to Bournemouth.
"Francesco Guidolin has been released from hospital after making a good recovery and will resume duties this week," said a statement on the club's Twitter account.
First-team coach Alan Curtis, who took caretaker charge when Garry Monk was sacked in December, has filled in during Guidolin's absence and overseen wins over Arsenal and Norwich.
