Former Liverpool defender Rigobert Song is in critical condition and "fighting for his life" after suffering a stroke in his native Cameroon.
40-year-old Song, who played just 35 games for Liverpool after signing for the Merseysiders in 1999 and then moved on to West Ham United, was rushed to hospital over the weekend, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Jamie Carragher, Stan Collymore and Robbie Fowler have all taken to Twitter to wish the Chad international manager the best.
