FORMER Bohemians striker Paddy Madden has been named the NPower League One Player of the Month after scoring six goal in three games for Yeovil Town.
The 22-year-old has scored eight goals in his last five matches and is now the joint top scorer in the division.
"Confidence is a massive thing for a striker. If the goals are going in then you're on a real high," he told the BBC.
"I'm feeling fit now and I've got 16 goals in 20 games so I'm buzzing."
Carlisle signed Madden from Bohemians in January 2011, but a series of injuries meant he struggled to maintain a regular first-team place.
The Dublin-born forward made only seven starts for the Blues before being loaned out to the Yeovil in October and he hasn’t looked back.
He made an immediate impact at Huish Park - scoring twice on his debut against Colchester.
He continued to impress and earned a permanent deal in January, with Yeovil buying out the remaining six months of his contract at Brunton Park.
