Here's the best Twitter reaction to Ireland being drawn in the Group of Death at Euro 2016
It was going so well until Italy were pulled out in Group E of Euro 2016.
The Azzurri joined ourselves, Belgium and Sweden in what must go down as the Group of Death in the tournament.
"It couldn't be any tougher," was Martin O'Neill's reaction to the draw in Paris.
Ireland will begin their campaign against Sweden on June 13 at the Stade de France, Belgium in Bordeaux five days later before rounding off our group against the Italian in Lille on June 22.
Wales and England must face off in Group B along with Russia and Slovakia.
Michael O'Neill's Northern Ireland face Germany, Poland and Ukraine in Group C.
"I don't envisage us getting of winning this group but we can get out of it," O'Neill said.
Here was the best reaction on Twitter:
Home Nations all should be reasonably happy with their draws. Rep Of Ireland's group is a stinker though. https://t.co/LGhSirxd7D— michael owen (@themichaelowen) December 12, 2015

On paper tough draw but gives us a good chance, after all we did beat Germany and that belief is still fresh in the minds— stephen hunt (@stephenhunt1010) December 12, 2015
First game in Stade de France. There will be no mentions of Thierry Henry in the build up...— Owen Cowzer (@OCowzer) December 12, 2015
All getting very real now the draw has been made. Can't wait to face England #EURO2016— Aaron Ramsey (@aaronramsey) December 12, 2015
Definitely winnable games but a tough group #Euro2016Draw need points in the first game as it gets more difficult from there.— Sean St Ledger (@seanstledger12) December 12, 2015
Tough group and a crushing blow for GAA journalists who'll have to fill much more space than they hoped to next July.— Donnchadh Boyle (@depboyle) December 12, 2015
Uh-oh. It's the Italians again. And we'll be playing them in our last group game again.— emmet malone (@emmetmalone) December 12, 2015
Tough draw that for Ireland. But with super Jonny Walters we have a shout #COYBIG— Aaron McCarey (@mccareyA1) December 12, 2015
Belgium may yet turn out to be bottlers under tournament pressure. Prefer them to the likes of Germany, Spain et al.— Tommy Conlon (@TConlonthecouch) December 12, 2015
