Every football reporter's secret dream is to be on the receiving end of a Roy Keane tongue-lashing.
You know you've made it in the media when you provoke the wrath of the famously combative midfielder with a tough question. Keane is more available to the media than ever before in his role as Ireland assistant manager, regularly appearing at press conferences to answer journalists' queries.
Today, the subject of Keane's contract came up. The Manchester United legend has agreed to remain in his role for the upcoming World Cup qualifying campaign, despite speculation that he might return to club management.
TV3 reporter Paul Walsh quizzed Keane on whether the new deal contains a clause that lets him take another job, but the Ireland coach quickly flipped the question on its head, asking Walsh about his own contract.
Not for the first time, Keane turned what seemed like a routine question into an enthralling Frost/Nixon-esque back and forth.
