Video: This brilliant fans' anthem for Euro 2016 will put you in the mood for France

They are coming thick and fast now. While we are still awaiting the official Irish Euro 2016 anthem, fans have been busy recording their own.

This latest tune - Summer of 16 by the Longshots - was sent to us by fan Robbie Barron, who also played the guitar and bass.

The song features Ray Barron on the mandolin, Dave Jones on drums, Geraldine Barron on the accordion and Aaron Dillon on vocals and was written and Andy Wilson who is the lead vocalist.

The Longshots' tune has been added to the must watch list which includes a song by Irish pub owner John Paul Wright who is currently residing in Salzburg. He penned the classic Dance in France while Catalpa, an Irish trad band, released Irish To The Core ahead of the Euros.

Here is Catalpa's Irish To The Core:

Here are the lyrics to Summer of 16:

From the rolling hills of Donegal

to the banks of the river Lee

and the mouth of the river Liffey

to the Wild atlantic sea

In the summer of sixteen

We'll be following the team

and we'll all stand up together

and we'll follow the boys in green

Johnny Burke's in Cincinnatti

Mary Sullivan's in Skibbereen

They're in Shanghai and Abhu Dhabi

and they're everywhere in between

We'll be singing on the Ferry

we'll be singing in the camper van

you'll be glad that joxer's driving

when you're sipping on a warm beer can

From the rolling hills of Donegal

to the banks of the river Lee

and the mouth of the river Liffey

to the Wild atlantic sea

From Lahinch and Ennistymon

to the beach at Curraghcloe

Ballycastle and Rathlin Island

Here we go here we go here we go

And we could have had Jack Grealish

but he couldn't make up his mind

and now the boys in green are off to France

and leaving him behind

to win we'll need a miracle

like the fishes and the loaves

or Stephen Ireland's granny

rising from the dead in cobh (here we go!)

From the rolling hills of Donegal

to the banks of the river Lee

and the mouth of the river Liffey

to the Wild atlantic sea

In the summer of sixteen

we'll be following the dream

and we'll all stand up together

when we follow the boys in green

We're a nation that's divided,

there's a team for north and south

you change countries when you drive

from county Armagh into Louth

But it doesn't seem to matter

because the two teams qualified

when we're over there with our ginger hair

we'll be standing side by side!

From the rolling hills of Donegal

to the banks of the river Lee

and the mouth of the river Liffey

to the Wild atlantic sea

From Lahinch and Ennistymon

to the beach at Curraghcloe

Ballycastle and Rathlin Island

Here we go here we go here we go...

Jimmy's drinking in Falcarragh

Michael's working on the long mile road

have you seen or heard from Darragh?

Is he happy is he coming home?

Donal's out in Bratislava

and he's playing the GAA

we'll see him at ten by the banks of the Seine

and we'll all watch Ireland play

From the east to the west there'll be no rest

'til we pull in to St. Tropez

and with the tents in the ground we'll be all gathered round

for a song at the end of the day HERE WE GO
