Video: Relief for Ireland fans as their 22-year-old pimped up 'banger' makes it to France

Two fans have made it all the way to France in a 22-year-old banged up Volvo that failed to start just three hours before they were due to get the ferry.
Niall Keogh from Rathfarnham and his pal Niall Mallinn from Bray drove to France in the same 1994 Volvo that they brought to Poland four years ago. Since then the car has been sitting idle in Keogh's parent's driveway in Dublin while he moved to Qatar to work.
And despite getting the car serviced during the week, it failed to start on TWO occasions before it eventually fired up and away they went for to catch the ferry to France.
The maverick duo made headlines in 2010 when they travelled to South Africa with a 'Thierry Henry - Le Cheat' flag before getting ejected from the stadium during France's group game against Uruguay.
Keogh revealed his apprehension about driving the car to France when he told Independent.ie that there has been no tax on the car since 2012!
