The Irish fans are leaving France in their thousands after leaving a last impression on the host nation.

The travelling supporters made worldwide headlines for bringing a party atmosphere to France but with the Welsh still in the tournament, we can expect more heartwarming tales, certainly if this video is anything to go by.

The video, posted on Wales Online, shows police approach a large crowd of Welsh and Northern Ireland fans in Paris before Saturday's clash with a boy who had become separated from his father.

The quick-thinking fans put the boy on a box so he could be seen by anyone in the crowd and began to chant 'Steve, Steve, here's your son' and 'Stand Up, if you are his dad' while they lowered themselves to the ground.

And it worked, with the boy reunited with his father much to the delight of the crowd.
