'The Irish are like drunken wizards': International fans loved the Green Army's bit of panel beating

On the one hand, you can understand people's annoyance at the amount of Irish fan videos currently in circulation but when it is something this good, you can't help but laugh.
The video of supporters denting - and then fixing - the roof of a French car is among the funniest we've seen from Euro 2016 so far. The fact that the fans also slipped money in through the window to compensate for the damage done only added to the video's charm.
The Green Army's latest actions haven't gone unnoticed outside of Ireland either, with many people remarking on the fans' impromptu spot of panel beating.
The video has been upvoted 10203 times on Reddit and been commented on 1176 times in just three hours, as people from around the world pay tribute to Irish fans.
Here is a selection of the glowing comments.
"Imagine the owner coming back to his car and finding his car seemingly untouched but just a bunch of money inside. The reverse burglary."
"How the hell did that work to get the dent out? The Irish are like drunken wizards."
"That's some professional drunk courtesy there."
"I watched twice just to check if the video was reversed. The explanation makes sense, and the fact they slipped money in the car also made me happy. I still wouldn't enjoy if someone had got up on my car like that... But the decency if acknowledging their mistake is wonderful."
"Wouldn't it be great if, as a show of city pride after winning a championship, celebratory rioters got wasted and went through cities making small repairs and doing minor clean ups instead of setting sh*t on fire?"
"We need more publicity to get this going. I don't think people even realize fixing things is far more gratifying than destroying them."
"Irish fans sing to a baby on a train.
Irish fans sing to French girl and get kiss.
Irish fans sing to old man on patio. (no kiss)
Irish fans repair dented vehicle.
Can we please get these folks more beer and a traveling schedule just to make the world a better place?"
