Northern Ireland will be cheered on by one of their most famous fans in Paris this evening after Rory McIlroy flew to France to take in his country's crunch Group C clash against Germany tonight.
McIlroy disappointingly missed the cut at the US Open last week, but has opted to get over his poor showing at the year's second Major by journeying to France with a gang friends to watch Michael O'Neill's men in action.
The golfer's matchday attire is pretty cool too, with the four-time Major champion eschewing a jersey in favour of a t-shirt with George Best's face on it.
Northern Ireland play world champions Germany knowing that a win guarantees them a last 16 place, while a draw should see them through to the second round too.
After losing their opening game 1-0 to Poland, they bounced back with an emphatic 2-0 victory over Ukraine to put themselves in contention for the knockout stage.
