Ireland's Euro 2016: We laughed, we danced, we sang...

It's now over two weeks since Ireland bowed out of Euro 2016 but the happy memories are still strong.
Up to 100,000 supporters travelled to France to cheer on the Boys in Green.
And while we didn't emerge victorious in the tournament our fans won the hearts of the French public.
This culminated with 17-year-old Ireland Jamie Monaghan receiving the prestigious Médaille de la Ville de Paris from the Mayor of Paris on behalf of Irish supporters who travelled to France.
Independent.ie was there every step of the way and our video montage pays tribute to 'The best fans in the world'.
