Anthony Stokes was in sizzling form at Hampden Park this afternoon as he netted twice in Hibernian's 3-2 win in the Scottish Cup final against Rangers.

Stokes curled home the opening goal after just three minutes before later heading an equaliser to the net with ten minutes to go, which was followed by David Gray's injury time winner.

It was the first cup win for Hibs since 1902 but from an Irish perspective, the main story was the form shown by striker who is on loan from Celtic.

Stokes is unlikely to make Martin O'Neill's Euro 2016 squad after being omitted from the extended list but that didn't stop fans from clamouring for his inclusion after his red hot performance this afternoon.
