Ireland squad arrives in Lyon as history beckons

The Irish team have arrived safely in Lyon ahead of their date with destiny against Euro 2016 hosts France on Sunday.
The team flew down from their Versailles base this evening and the first thing they will have noticed is that travelling south has brought a significant rise in temperature.
It's 30'C in Lyon now and anything like that heat for a 3pm (local time) start on Sunday would really work against an Irish XI that gave its all in Lille on Wednesday.
Mercifully, the weather forecast is only talking about 25'C for Sunday. But Martin O'Neill will be hoping for the thermometer to fall further for his men.
