The 28-year-old, who scored seven times in qualification, injured himself when stretching to make an intervention during a session that was open to the public at Saint-Georges-de-Reneins on Tuesday.

Lafferty then went in for assessment from the medical team while Michael O'Neill's team continued their drills in the French sunshine.
