ADO Den Haag 'keeper Gino Coutinho has raised the bar when it comes to giving the goalkeepers union a bad name.
The former Dutch U-21 international has been sentenced to a year behind bars for money laundering, forgery and owning a cannabis farm.
Coutinho and his girlfriend were first arrested in 2009, when a warehouse in the village of Ens was raided and 4,200 marijuana plants were found.
Despite being on the premises, Coutinho and his girlfriend denied any involvement, although it was later discovered that the factory was registered under Coutinho's name.
The 28-year-old has been with ADO Den Haag, who are in fifth place in the Eredivise and have a genuine chance of a Europa League place, since 2008.
He also represented the Netherlands at the U-21 World Cup in 2001 but now his devotion to 'grass' roots looks to have ruined his career.
