Done deals

MATT Taylor has been reunited with his old boss Sam Allardyce at West Ham. Barcelona defender Oriol Romeu will sign for Chelsea early this week after the clubs agreed a £5m fee. QPR captain Adel Taarabt won't be going anywhere after his move to Paris Saint-Germain was blocked by Bernie Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore.

LIKELY LADS

FIORENTINA want to take Alberto Aquilani off Liverpool's hands for the season, while Tottenham's Giovani dos Santos could be on his way to Serie A as Udinese look for a replacement for Alexis Sanchez, who has joined Barcelona. Chelsea chief Ron Gourlay has said that Chelsea will sign two players in the next eight to 10 days, with Luka Modric and Javier Pastore the likely candidates. The Blues will have to spend at least £80m to secure the duo.

LONG SHOTS

Villarreal's Santi Cazorla is being linked with a move to Arsenal if Cesc Fabregas departs this summer to Barcelona. Carlos Tevez could be offered as a major makeweight in Manchester City's £40m move for his international team-mate Sergio Aguero from Atletico Madrid. Everton may let Jack Rodwell go for a fee of £20m.
