Delaney: a week in the life . . .

Sunday: At an Aviva Stadium event.
Monday: Meetings in the Aviva Stadium all day.
Tuesday: Meetings with four different sponsors, and an internal Commercial Group Executive meeting, followed by lunch with a sponsor.
Wednesday: Weekly management meeting of top executives, every department head, followed by lunch with a newspaper editor. Drive to Waterford for meeting with local junior league, followed by attendance at civic reception for the Waterford schoolboys, winners of national under 14 and under 16 titles. Finally, a meeting with Waterford Bohemians about their development plans.
Thursday: Aviva Stadium board meeting with IRFU and FAI, followed by meeting with soccer personality. In the evening attended Europa League game, Shamrock Rovers v Juventus.
Friday: 7.30 start for Strategy Group meeting in Abbotstown, followed by six meetings with senior executives, a mid-term review to see if targets have been met. Guest speaker that evening at Crumlin United in recognition of the club winning 18 trophies.
Saturday: In Ballyfermot to present medals to children who played in a World Cup-style tournament organised in partnership with the local community and the local authorities. On to Galway to officially open Renmore AFC's clubhouse. Back to Dublin and early-morning flight to Switzerland for the Court of Arbitration for Sport hearing of the Daniel Kearns case.
